Pulse Sauna & Ice Club: Victoria Gorska’s epicenter for high-performance wellness

Viktoria Gorska leads a wellness concept in Marbella that connects the traditional spa model, delving into the science of recovery and human resilience. At the helm of Pulse Sauna & Ice Club, in the vibrant Nueva Andalucía district, she has established a space where contrast therapy becomes a tool for high performance and mental balance. With a vision focused on the benefits of biohacking and the power of community, Viktoria has positioned this club as the epicenter for those seeking to optimize their health through the rigor of ice and the purification of the sauna, offering a transformative experience that goes far beyond superficial relaxation.

– Who is Victoria Gorska?

– I was born in Belarus and raised in Poland, and sport has been the backbone of my identity for as long as I can remember. From competing as a national sprinter in the 100m to exploring disciplines like CrossFit, boxing, and HYROX, performance has always been a way of living for me rather than just a hobby.

Professionally, my journey began in real estate in Malta, where I spent six years building a foundation in sales and psychology. After a transformative year traveling across South America, I moved to Spain and founded a video production company specialized in high-end real estate. However, I felt a calling for something more connected to my personal values. When I moved to Marbella, I realized the city lacked a sanctuary that truly integrated recovery, performance, and a conscious community. That realization led me to create Pulse.

– What is the philosophy behind Pulse?

– Pulse isn’t a traditional spa; it’s a space for optimization, connection, and reset. It was designed for those who prioritize health and biohacking, understanding that performance is as much mental and emotional as it is physical. Pulse is a phone-free sanctuary where you can slow down without losing your purpose. It’s where athletes, entrepreneurs, and creatives come to recover, reconnect, and realign—giving both body and mind an intentional, social break under one sky.

– For many, the idea of immersing themselves in an ice bath can be intimidating. How do you support those who are experiencing this for the first time, and what role does breathing play in the process?

– While an ice bath can be intimidating at first, Pulse focuses on expert guidance rather than mere exposure. Breathwork is the central tool; by teaching you to regulate your breathing, we help you control your nervous system and transform discomfort into an empowering experience. You are never alone in this process. We create a supportive, shared environment where being surrounded by others facing the same challenge makes a profound difference.

– What are the “invisible” mental and hormonal benefits you observe in members who practice the method consistently?

– While many come for physical recovery, the true transformation happens internally. By consistently practicing contrast therapy and breathwork, you intentionally step into discomfort, training your nervous system to remain calm under pressure and building genuine emotional resilience. On a biological level, this process balances your cortisol response, teaching the body how to switch from stress to relaxation. Simultaneously, the release of dopamine and endorphins naturally enhances mood, focus, and motivation. Beyond performance, these “invisible” benefits—better sleep, emotional awareness, and hormonal balance—provide a profound sense of self-control and a much calmer mind.

– How important is the social factor and the “tribe” mentality at Pulse?

– The social aspect is as vital as the recovery itself. Pulse is a “stay and connect” space, not a “use and leave” facility. By being a phone-free environment, it fosters a shared mindset of growth and intentional living, allowing for deep, uninterrupted conversations. We are building a tribe that extends beyond the club through events, creating a community where people truly belong.

– What do you do in your free time?

– Nature is my escape, especially camping under the stars in the Marbella mountains. Sports are my fuel; from half-marathons to mountain biking or windsurfing, I’m up for anything that keeps me moving.

Creatively, I express myself through film—shooting with my drone and editing all the content for Pulse’s Instagram. I also love traveling to raw, authentic destinations like Cuba or Guatemala. Ultimately, I value simple things: deep conversations, family, a good dessert, and creating ideas that inspire others.
